The newly reformed Weymouth thirds where unlucky to go out of the Dorset & Wilts cup to a narrow defeat by Wimborne Thirds. Weymouth last put out 3 teams in season 1999/2000 when we played a third team 15 times in that season. Our third team was always known as the "Pirates"
A good performance from our team of players well played by the new players who all managed to get Game time under there belts, Weymouth try was scored by Paul Tobutt and converted by Andy Thorne who also added a penalty.
Captain Kevin Leatham added " I am pleased with the commitment from the players today who stuck to there task against a well drilled wimborne side, well done"
