CLUB MISSION STATEMENT
TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY BASED SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE GAME OF RUGBY UNION FOOTBALL IN A SAFE, WELL ORGANISED AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOR THE MEN, WOMEN, GIRLS AND BOYS OF WEYMOUTH AND PORTLAND.
Weymouth RFC is one of the oldest rugby football union clubs in the country, dating back to at least 1872.
We run three senior teams, including a vets team and have a growing mini and youth section which starts at the under 6's. In our lucky location by the sea we are able to run tag rugby on the beach during the summer as well a Tag Rugby League.

TO BE A COMMUNITY SPORTS CLUB WITH THE FACILITIES TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO DEVELOP A VARIETY OF SPORTING AND SOCIAL SKILLS TO THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
We are also connected to the South Dorset Giants, a newly formed Rugby League team, who are alway looking for new recruits.
We are purely run by volunteers and are also looking for anyone willing to give up a little bit of their time to help with the club.
Weymouth RFC Ltd is a member of the Rugby Football Union And the Dorset & Wiltshire Rugby Football Union, and is an Equal Opportunities Members Club.
